To convert this first lets see how many meters are in 1 km.
1 km = 1000 meters
Now lets multiply:-
2.7 × 1000 = 2700
So, 2.7 km = 2700 meters.

2,700 meters are in 2.7 kilometers because there are 1,000 meters in 1 kilometer, so multiply 2.7 with 1,000 which is 2,700.
