You will use mass=mole x Molar mass
The molar mass of Na2CO3 is 106
So 0.45 x 106 = 47.7 grams

to convert moles to grams, we need the molar mass of the molecule

molar mass of Na₂CO₃= (2 x 23.0) + 12.0 + (3 x 16.0)= 106 g/mol

[tex]0.450 mol \frac{106 grams}{1 mol} = 47.7 grams[/tex]
