The story ' Marriage is a Private Affair' shows the conflict between Okeke and his son. He is a modern son of a conservative father, Okeke. Then, he becomes very angry to see the picture. It brings a great change in his mind. Finally he decides to permit his son and the son's family to visit him and the conflict is over.
